The Art of the Americas Collection presents a variety of utilitarian and decorative objects from Latin American and Native American cultures dating from as early as the 19th century BCE to the 20th century CE. Great Basin, Plains, Arctic, Woodland, and Southwest tribes are represented within our Native American Collection. The Latin American Collection is made up of objects from throughout Guatemala, Costa Rica, Mexico, and Peru, and Mesoamerican cultures, such as Aztec, Mayan, Olmec, and Incan.
