Ursula Morley Price builds her pieces by hand instead of using the potter’s wheel and her signature ruffles or flanges, pinched thin, allow for the lively play of light and shadow across the surfaces of the work. She wants to create objects that look like they could be moving on their own or blowing in the wind, though they will always remain stationary.
