A painter and a printmaker, Brozik studied at the Art Institute of Chicago from 1924 to 1928. He also studied for two summers at the Tiffany Foundation in New York City and spent a year traveling in Europe with his friend, sculptor Theodore Roszak. After teaching for a year at the Municipal Art Gallery in Davenport, Iowa, he moved to Flint, Michigan and became the supervisor for the art school at the Flint Institute of Arts.
During the Depression, he worked for the Federal Emergency Relief Administration, and completed murals for Hurley Hospital and the Flint Public Library. He moved to California in 1946 and died in 1986.
