The peach has special significance in both China and Japan; the Chinese consider the peach a symbol of longevity and immortality. For the Japanese, peach trees symbolize renewed life, as they are the first flowering trees to bloom in Japan during the early weeks of spring. Produced by the renowned Ando Cloisonné Company, this vase has blossoms, foliage, and fruit in its richly decorative design.
