Kreg Kallenberger explains that much of his artwork is centered around themes of landscape. He wants the objects to “not only transmit a visual image, but also express and suggest the experience of landscape.” As light penetrates the smooth edges of the glass it reflects and refracts the textured surface creating an abstracted landscape that appears and disappears, becomes enlarged and reduced, and is distorted when you look at the sculpture from different angles. This ever-changing experience allows you to explore and go beyond the realm of three dimensions.
