Known for her innovative and experimental blown glass, Laura Donefer finds inspiration from the colors and textures of nature, playing on its various patterns. This work from her series Amulet Baskets features seemingly chaotic twists of multicolored glass beads, fabric, and other found objects. The artist describes herself as a collector of earth remnants, wanting to possess anything and everything and then incorporate them into her work.
