Tobias Møhl belongs to an important generation of Danish glass artists who achieved international recognition in the 1990s becoming particularly notable for their technical innovation. He was trained at Holmegaard Glass Factory and Royal Copenhagen and attended several master classes in the United States. His work strives to marry traditional techniques with contemporary style. “I have searched for simple details in glass which, when used in the right context, adds an extra refinement to the end result. I have explored methods that break away from the traditional patterns to discover a new and more organic expression and style.”
