BiographyBorn in Flint, Michigan on May 28, 1940. Gordon Cook was the head artist in the printing department at General Motors Institute, where other local artists, Jim Anthony (department head) and Bob Steinbach worked. He went on to become a senior concept illustrator at General Motors Guide Division (later to become Delphi). He belonged to the Flint Artist Market and served as the treasurer in 1970. Jim Anthony and Stefan Davidek were hismentors. He attended Mott Community College and numerous workshops in paintn and drawing at University of Michigan and Cranbrook. In 1980 he taught a summer workshop on Mackinaw Island. His work is represented in the Consumers Power Collection of Art as well as many private collections in the United States, Canada and Australia.
