American, born Scotland, 1901 - 1965
BiographyBorn in Kilbirnie, Scotland, where he received early training at the Paisley Academy of Art. In 1923, Davies came to the United States. Davies attended and taught classes at the Flint Institute of Arts for years. He exhibited his works locally, regionally and nationally, winning awards in Michigan and Ohio.
